To ensure that submissions meet our standards and that the publication process is smooth and efficient, we ask authors to carefully review and adhere to the following guidelines.

1. Book Proposal Submission
1.1 Proposal Requirements
Authors interested in publishing a book with Shodh Sagar International Publications must first submit a book proposal. The proposal should include the following elements:
Title and Subtitle: A clear and concise title that reflects the content and scope of the book.
Author(s) Information: Names, affiliations, and contact details of all authors and contributors.
Abstract: A brief summary (250-300 words) of the book's content, objectives, and significance.
Table of Contents: A detailed outline of the book's structure, including chapter titles and subheadings.
Sample Chapter: A complete sample chapter to demonstrate the writing style and content quality.
Target Audience: A description of the intended readership and the relevance of the book to that audience.
Market Analysis: An overview of competing titles and the unique contributions of the proposed book.
Author Biography: A brief biography of each author, highlighting relevant expertise and previous publications.

1.2 Submission Process
Proposals should be submitted electronically via our online submission system or emailed directly to the acquisitions editor at shodhsagar@gmail.com. The editorial team will review the proposal, and if it aligns with our publishing goals, the author will be invited to submit the full manuscript for further consideration.

2. Manuscript Preparation
2.1 Formatting Guidelines
Text:
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format, using a standard font (e.g., Times New Roman, 12-point), with double spacing and 1-inch margins on all sides.
Headings: Use a clear hierarchy of headings and subheadings to organize the content.
Figures and Tables: Include all figures, tables, and illustrations within the manuscript at the appropriate points, numbered consecutively with descriptive captions. Ensure that all visual elements are of high resolution (300 dpi or higher) and suitable for print.
References: Follow a consistent citation style throughout the manuscript, such as APA, MLA, or Chicago. Ensure that all references are complete and accurate.
Length: The typical manuscript length for a book is between 60,000 and 100,000 words. However, this may vary depending on the subject matter and target audience.

2.2 Structure and Content
A well-structured manuscript typically includes the following sections:
Preface or Introduction: An overview of the book's purpose, scope, and structure.
Chapters: Each chapter should be clearly defined, focusing on a specific aspect of the topic. Begin with an introduction and conclude with a summary or key takeaways.
Conclusion: A final chapter that synthesizes the book’s main points and offers conclusions or recommendations.
Appendices (if applicable): Additional material such as data, documents, or resources that support the main text.
Bibliography or References: A comprehensive list of all sources cited in the book.
Index: An alphabetical list of key terms and topics covered in the book, with page references (optional but recommended for academic and reference books).

3. Review and Acceptance
3.1 Editorial Review
Once the full manuscript is submitted, it will undergo an initial review by the editorial team to assess its quality, relevance, and alignment with the press's publishing goals. The editorial team may provide feedback and request revisions before the manuscript is sent for external peer review.

3.2 Peer Review
Manuscripts selected for publication typically undergo a peer review process, where experts in the field evaluate the content for accuracy, originality, and contribution to the discipline. Authors may be asked to make revisions based on reviewers' feedback.

3.3 Acceptance and Contract
If the manuscript is accepted for publication, the author will receive a formal acceptance letter along with a publishing contract. The contract will outline the terms of publication, including copyright, royalties, and the expected timeline for publication.

4. Publication Process
4.1 Copyediting and Proofreading
After acceptance, the manuscript will be copyedited to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to the press's style guidelines. Authors will have the opportunity to review and approve the edited manuscript before it proceeds to typesetting.

4.2 Typesetting and Design
The manuscript will be professionally typeset, and a cover design will be created. Authors will be consulted on the cover design and will receive page proofs for final approval. Only minor corrections can be made at the proof stage.

4.3 Printing and Distribution
Once the final proofs are approved, the book will be printed and distributed. Shodh Sagar International Publications ensures that all books are available in both print and digital formats, distributed through various channels including online retailers, bookstores, and libraries.

4.4 Promotion and Marketing
The press will actively promote the book through various channels, including social media, email newsletters, academic conferences, and book fairs. Authors are encouraged to participate in promotional activities and share their work within their professional networks.

5. Ethical Standards
5.1 Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that their work is original and free from plagiarism. Any use of previously published material must be properly cited and acknowledged. Plagiarism will result in the rejection of the manuscript and may lead to further action.

5.2 Authorship
All individuals listed as authors must have made significant contributions to the book. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript.

5.3 Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the content or interpretation of their work. This includes financial interests, personal relationships, or affiliations that may be perceived as affecting the research outcomes.
