Peer Review Policy

At Shodh Sagar International Publications, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and quality in all our publications. To ensure the reliability and validity of the research we publish, we employ a rigorous double-blind peer review process.

1. Double-Blind Review Process
All submissions to Shodh Sagar International Publications undergo a double-blind peer review process. In this process, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential. This anonymity ensures that the review process is unbiased and based solely on the quality and content of the manuscript.
Author Anonymity: Authors are required to remove any identifying information from their manuscripts before submission. This includes names, affiliations, acknowledgments, and any other personal references. The editorial team will further ensure that the manuscript is anonymized before it is sent to reviewers.
Reviewer Anonymity: Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the subject matter of the manuscript. They will be provided with an anonymized version of the manuscript, with no access to the identity of the authors. Reviewers are also expected to maintain confidentiality and not disclose their identity to the authors or to anyone else outside the editorial process.

2. Review Process Steps
Initial Submission Check:
Upon submission, the manuscript is first reviewed by the editorial team to ensure that it meets the journal's submission guidelines and scope. If the manuscript passes this initial check, it is then forwarded for peer review.
Reviewer Selection: The editorial team identifies and invites reviewers who have relevant expertise in the field. A minimum of two reviewers are assigned to each manuscript to provide independent assessments.
Reviewer Feedback: Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, methodology, clarity, contribution to the field, and adherence to ethical standards. They provide detailed feedback and recommendations regarding the suitability of the manuscript for publication.
Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' feedback, the editorial team will make a decision on the manuscript. The decision can be one of the following:
Accept: The manuscript is accepted as is or with minor revisions.
Revise and Resubmit: The authors are invited to make revisions and resubmit the manuscript for further review.
Reject: The manuscript is rejected if it does not meet the publication standards.
Author Notification: The corresponding author is informed of the editorial decision along with the reviewers' comments. In the case of revisions, the authors are expected to respond to the reviewers' feedback and make necessary changes before resubmission.

3. Confidentiality and Ethics
All manuscripts and review reports are treated with the strictest confidentiality. Information regarding the submission is only shared with those directly involved in the review and publication process.
Reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and are expected to conduct the review process with integrity and professionalism.
Plagiarism or any other unethical behavior identified during the review process will result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript and may lead to further investigation.

4. Post-Publication Review
Shodh Sagar International Publications encourages post-publication discussion and welcomes constructive criticism of published works. If significant issues are raised post-publication, the editorial team may consult with the original reviewers and authors to address the concerns.

5. Review Recognition
While the review process is anonymous, Shodh Sagar International Publications values the contribution of our reviewers. We provide formal acknowledgment to reviewers annually and may offer them the opportunity to be listed as members of the editorial board, subject to their consent.
