Chapter Title:
Assessment Techniques in Physical Education
Book Title:
Synopsis
Assessment is an all-encompassing procedure that necessitates evaluating both the participants and the content they engage with. Physical education assessment helps in several things, including making decisions about: categorization, diagnosis, and direction; motivation; reporting progress; and program development.
Forms of Assessment
There are three types of evaluation that this curriculum framework supports:
Student Performance: All students are involved in the evaluation procedure. For the sake of lesson planning, identifying each student's unique requirements, selecting and grouping pupils, and keeping parents and guardians updated on their children's development, assessments are administered.
Teacher Self-Assessment: The effectiveness of physical education, school, and community-based course preparation and delivery is evaluated by teachers via self-evaluation.
