Value and Peace Education for Sustainable Development of Society
Keywords:
global society, sustainable development, prosperity, life of dignity, Value and Peace Education, acknowledgeSynopsis
In a rapidly changing world, the global society is confronted with diverse, multifaceted, and interconnected challenges. Economic, social, and environmental issues, such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and political instability, have posed significant threats to the well-being and prosperity of societies. The need for sustainable solutions has never been greater.
In this context, the concept of sustainable development has gained substantial prominence in both academic discourse and public policy. The United Nations, through its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has explicitly highlighted the necessity for an inclusive, just, and sustainable society. The SDGs envision a world where every individual has the capacity to lead a life of dignity, peace, and prosperity, while the planet's ecological balance is preserved for future generations.
