Synopsis

Identifying Research Gaps
It is an indication that it is understood that there are areas within a field of study in which there is a lack of knowledge or insufficient expertise, which opens up the prospect of further exploration in the future. This is what is meant by the recognition of a research gap. In order to acquire an awareness of the current academic landscape, the first step in this strategy is to carry out a comprehensive study of the material that is already provided. This review will be carried out in order to obtain this awareness. It is vital for researchers to analyze contemporary studies, theoretical breakthroughs, and empirical discoveries in order for them to be able to identify the geographic areas in which there are gaps in their knowledge. It is conceivable for these gaps to present themselves in the form of questions that have not been answered, contradictions in the findings, or areas in which the research that has been done is either out of date or limited. All of these things are feasible. The acquisition of insights about developing trends and difficulties that have not yet been addressed can be accomplished through a variety of different methods. Participating in conferences, consulting with industry experts, and being affiliated with new publications are some of the methods that fall under this category. Furthermore, the evaluation of practical applications and the requirements of the business may bring to light areas that academic research may not have yet thoroughly investigated or identified solutions for. This assessment may bring to light regions that have not yet been discovered.
